FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where can I buy Noosa Basics products? Are there any stockists near me?

Noosa Basics products are widely available in most health food stores and some Pharmacies. Additionally, our deodorant range is stocked exclusively at Priceline.

For specific product availability, we recommend contacting your local stockist directly.  you can explore and purchase our full range online through our website.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with our distributor at (03) 9357 7161 or email info@bioliving.com.au, and we’ll be happy to assist you in locating the closest option.

I have had a reaction to your deodorant, what can I do?

If you experience a reaction, stop using the product immediately. The reaction is likely caused by the bicarbonate soda in the formula, which is highly alkaline and can irritate the skin’s naturally neutral pH.

We recommend gently washing off any remaining product with water and allowing your skin to fully heal before attempting to use bicarbonate soda-based deodorants again.

To prepare your skin for future use of bicarbonate soda deodorants, once healed, you can try applying a mixture of bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar as a natural skin-conditioning treatment.

You might also consider trying our magnesium-based deodorant from the sensitive skin range.

If irritation persists, consult a healthcare professional for further advice.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

All ingredient lists are clearly stated on every product. While we use only natural, plant-derived ingredients and avoid petrochemical-derived substances, some essential oils in our products may not be recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. For this reason, we advise consulting your physician about the safety of specific ingredients. For more detailed information, please refer to this blog post

My deodorant cream/stick has a slimy top layer and an unpleasant smell. Is this normal?

No, this is not normal. If your product has developed a slimy texture or unpleasant odour, it is likely past its recommended shelf life (typically around 18 months).

We’d be happy to assist you with a replacement. Please reach out to our team at customerservice@noosabasics.com, and we’ll ensure you receive a fresh product.

The twisting mechanism of my deodorant stick or lip balm is stuck. What can I do?

If your deodorant stick isn’t twisting up, it’s likely that the cream has adhered to the sides of the container. To fix this:

  • Warm the container slightly by placing it in direct sunlight for a few minutes or rubbing it between your hands to generate heat and loosen the cream.

If the issue persists, please contact our customer service team at customerservice@noosabasics.com and we’ll gladly provide a replacement.

The ball on my roll-on deodorant does not roll, and the product is not coming out. How can this be fixed?

If your roll-on deodorant seems stuck, give it a good shake to unclog it. If that doesn't seem to work, try gently warming the bottle in water at around 60°C and then shake it again.

If the issue persists, don't hesitate to reach out to our team at customerservice@noosabasics.com, and we can happily assist you.

How long do your products last?

Each product is marked with an opening jar symbol, which contains a number indicating the number of months the product remains usable after opening. Typically, this ranges from 12 to 24 months.

Help! My dental floss became gooey and waxy. Why is this happening?

We're constantly refining our processes! If you've encountered dental floss issues, it's related to a previous batch. Our latest batch has undergone improvements to ensure better quality moving forward.

Can the spray and cream deodorant containers be recycled?

Absolutely! Our commitment to sustainability extends to our packaging. Both our deodorant cream containers, made from Metal Tin, and our spray deodorant containers, made of Aluminum, are easy-to-recycle. The spray deodorant even features an eco-friendly plastic lid for practical recycling. Happy recycling!
